Tell us something funny about you

When I moved here from London and applied for a U.S. Visa, I was deemed an “Alien of Extraordinary Ability” which always makes me laugh.

What computers do use (desktop, laptop, mac or pc or both ?)
I almost exclusively use my MacBook 12″ laptop.

What’s your current phone ?
Apple iPhone 7, because my iPhone 6 just broke.

Is there any useful gear you can’t live without (printer, router, analog stuff…)
I really can’t live without my Canon EOS camera for creating video and photo content! Also I can’t imagine living without my iPhone or my Macbook, and backup battery pack for my iPhone. I’m often at events and if I run out of battery, that’s terrible.

OS: OS X El Capitan
Browser: Safari, I like the classics.
Email client: Outlook, it’s really still the best for keeping things organized.

Desktop apps

Wunderlist: I love Wunderlist for organizing my to-do lists.

Quicksilver: helps me find things quickly on my Mac; when you’re as busy as I am, those moments spent searching your computer can’t be wasted.

F.Lux: I also use f.lux on my desktop, which changes the lighting from blue to warm light automatically as it gets darker outside. It really helps with eye fatigue and keeping my sleep cycles on point.

Web apps and services

Hootsuite: I absolutely rely on Hootsuite for scheduling all my social media content.

Fiverr: I love Fiverr and Upwork to delegate work that I don’t have time to do.

Gitlab is an incredible tool for streamlining and testing any code I’m writing.

Phone apps

Skype: The famous VoIP app from Microsoft, right on your phone.

Mint: probably the most famous (and the best) personal budgeting app to help you manage your finances.

Twitter: I like to use the official Twitter app.

I also use the HeartWatch app on my Apple watch to monitor my heart rate as I exercise quite a bit.

Browser extensions

Grammarly: I absolutely love the Grammarly extension, whether I’m writing a book or an email.

Game of Spoils: One of my favorites extensions. Though I don’t need it right now, when Game of Thrones is on, it blacks out any mention of GoT in your browser so you can completely avoid spoilers. Because I travel so much I get behind in the series and I can’t stand to have it spoiled.

The one productivity tip you’d recommend

Have a great team around you. Hire smart: not just people that are brilliant, but also people that you like to have around. It’s so much easier to get things done when you’re all operating smoothly and as a cohesive unit.
